And it is worth reminding you that, unlike the party political candidates, I fund my own campaign. I'm putting my time and my energy into something that I believe in - the protection and controlled development of my local community.

My summary profile

I’m married with 4 sons and live in Saxmundham. My sons have all attended local schools, colleges and UCS. With my wife, Nanette, I’m also a Carer for one of my sons who has Down’s syndrome.

I've lived in Saxmundham for the last 8 years, having moved here from Surrey—where I was a Borough Councillor for 12 years. The ‘Tricker’ family have lived in Suffolk for over 500 years.

I have a Business Degree and in my business life I have held various marketing and general management positions in high-tech companies.

Since “retiring” I have become very involved with social enterprise and I am currently a voluntary director of 3 Community Interest Companies.
