If you vote me in,
I will campaign to:

EDUCATION

1) Save and develop our Special Schools and Village Schools.

SOCIAL CARE

2) Improve respite care for Carers looking after the elderly and disabled.
3) Expand leisure facilities for the elderly and disabled.

HEALTH

4) Fight for new and improved local health facilities such as the Saxmundham “One-Stop Shop” Health & Social Care centre.
5) Introduce more NHS dentists locally.

CRIME & DISORDER

6) Ensure greater police visibility.

TRANSPORT & ROADS

7) Address the problem of uneven pavements and pot-holes.
8) Secure an hourly train service, both ways from Saxmundham.
9) Investigate more innovative ways of delivering public transport services between local towns and villages.

LEISURE

10) Press for more family sports and leisure facilities.

COMMUNITY

11) Ensure that future building developments meet local needs.
12) Establish a new annual Blything Food & Arts Festival to “celebrate our strengths”.

NB. Please remember, I am a ‘doer’, not a talker!

I have already helped to bring Broadband to the Saxmundham area, and to set up a Residents Association, and organise a local Arts Festival as well as campaigned vigorously to save the “One Stop Shop”.
